TRAINING POLICIES

Monday 01-10-08

Please keep in mind the following when attending select/premier practices: wear a white t-shirt, bring your pumped ball, try to wear black shorts and white socks, and always wear shin guards.  If you are looking for additional white training shirts, we have extras available for sale in our office.  We have Alliance FC classic logo t-shirts for $12 and a sale bin of soccer t-shirts for $5 a piece!

The reasoning behind the points:

Wear a white t-shirt.  A print on the front and/or back is fine as long as it is not the logo from another club.  An exception to this would be a tournament t-shirt with the name of a club on the back.

Wear soccer shorts.  Do not wear long mesh shorts (basketball or otherwise) that get in the way.

Wear soccer socks and shin-guards.  Shin-guards are to be inside of your socks.

Be on time.  When you are late (everyone is at some point) make sure to get ready (shoes and shin-guards on)  in the car and jog or run to the field.  This is good for two reasons #1 you don’t waste time and #2 you show your coach that you are ready and you want to be there.

Bring a pumped up soccer ball.  This might be your most important piece of equipment.  Treat it as such.

Keep your shirt tucked in.  Get in the habit for games.  A sloppy shirt doesn’t help the referee see when you are getting yanked on by an opponent and it doesn't have any place in a professional training environment.
