Try-Out Location

All try-outs will be held at the Michigan Field Sports Complex in Lowell.  This beautiful facility is used for all of our home games.  The club has secured fieldsin Grand Rapids for our weekly training sessions.

Why Alliance?

Alliance FC is synonymous with top level training and successful player and team development.  Our teams are consistently among the top ten in Michigan and are competitive on a regional level.  While we are the newest premier club in Grand Rapids (mergers aside), we were the only club in 2007-08 in Grand Rapids to have u13B, u14B, u15B, u13G, and u14G teams competing in the Michigan State Premier Soccer League.  In addition, we have prepared a significant number of players for state and regional ODP camps, Super Y League National ODP camp, and US Club Soccer National ID2 camps.

Try-Out Facts

There is no fee for Alliance try-outs.

Free Try-Out Tee Shirt

All try-out participants who registered online before May 30th, 2008 will receive an official Alliance FC  tee shirt!  Visit our registration tent to pick up your shirt.  Additional tee shirts will be available for $10 at the try-outs with proceeds benefiting our 2008-09 scholarship fund.

Who May Attend Try-Outs?

If you are a player in good standing with the Michigan State Youth Soccer Association and are at least seven (7) years of age and no older than eighteen (18) years of age on August 1st, 2008 you are eligible for selection to one of  our teams and welcome to participate in our try-outs.  Players younger than seven (7) on August 1st should register for our Junior Academy program. 

What to Bring

All players must bring a ball, shin-guards and water. Appropriate try-out attire is required. No t-shirts with other club logos or shorts other than soccer shorts are permitted. Parents may stay for try ­outs but are not allowed on the field and / or the sidelines. Areas will be marked.

Make up try-outs for all of our teams on Friday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the Michigan Field Sports Complex in Lowell.
u14 Boys Premier (We are looking for 6 or 7 players).
u14 Girls Premier (We need 1 or 2 players).
u13 Girls GVSA (We are looking for 6 or 7 players).
u8-u12 Girls from 5:30 - 7:00 pm.
u8-u12 Boys from 5:30 - 7:00 pm.
 

Immediate openings for u8 Girls, u9 Girls, u10 Girls, u9 Boys, u10 Boys, and u14 Boys Premier!  These age groups will provide tremendous opportunities for committed players to make an impact and improve their games with West Michigan's top coaches.

As always, Alliance FC reserves the right to make changes to coaching staff, time, location, and leagues.  We will notify participants through email (pre-registered players only) and by posting the changes on our website.
